Days Sports have increased their sponsorship of Suffolk FA county cup competitions for the next three seasons. In addition to sponsoring the county’s five youth cup competitions, Days Sports are to sponsor the Suffolk FA Senior Reserve Cup.

Keith Mills, owner of Bury St Edmunds-based Days Sports for the last 21 years, has sponsored the five youth cup competitions in each of the past two seasons. Days Sports will continue to provide 600 medals per season for the finalists of all 15 county cup competitions for the next three years.

Keith, pictured left with the Suffolk FA Senior Reserve Cup trophy, says: “Our sponsorship is aimed at putting something back into the community. “Suffolk FA is probably the most prestigious client I can get in the county in football, so it is nice for me to have this sort of contract.” Keith, a former goalkeeper with Elmswell, Great Barton, Icklingham, Ixworth, Rattlesden and Thetford Town, added: “I have been involved in local football ever since I was 15 years-old when I started playing.”

This season he will be passing on his experience as a goalkeeping coach working with the first team at Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division Thetford Town and with the Bury Town Under-16 side who play in the Eastern Junior Alliance.
